[237120, A1] Wk 3: Task 2 (Option B) – Writing Response Comprehension (Part 1)

Andrew Wallace’s views on critical thinking have expanded on my views of the processes involved in in-depth analysis of visual and literal texts. My understanding of critical thinking was that all products are the result of conscious or unconscious choices by the creator – thinking critically about the product is find cause and effect relationships between context and these choices. I hadn’t before considered the process of critical thinking to be one of complex structure and methodology, which Wallace explains in detail. I would add that creative thinking is the gateway through which we can expand our perspectives to think critically.
